Earlier last month, Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla claimed that there was a warrant from the International Criminal Court for Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa for his involvement in the war against drugs for which former president Rodrigo Duterte is now imprisoned in The Hague.

Obviously, the warrant would put Dela Rosa in prison with his former boss, something that the man obviously fears, despite all his bluster months earlier that he wanted to take care of the old man in prison.
But until now, almost a month later, there is still no sign of this so-called warrant. There is also no sign of Dela Rosa who has missed every session since the Senate reconvened, even failing to defend the Department of National Defense’s budget during plenary debates as the finance committee's vice chairman.
