Gilas Pilipinas got off to a fast start and withstood the best Guam could offer in a 95-71 win for a sweep of their two-game window in the FIBA World Cup Asian qualifiers on Monday night.

Justin Brownlee and Dwight Ramos presided over a sizzling first quarter run by the home team, which jumped off to a 17-3 lead that set the tone of the one-sided match before a sellout crowd at the Blue Eagle gym in Quezon City.
Brownlee led the Philippine side with 20 points, five rebounds, and seven assists, while going a perfect 8-of-8 from the foul line, and Ramos added 19 points, seven rebounds, and went 7-of-9 shooting from the field.
