Frasco wants Danao hospital named North Cebu Medical Center

Cebu 5th District Representative Vincent Franco “Duke” Frasco has renewed his call for support to upgrade the Cebu Provincial Hospital in Danao City into a Level II general hospital, to be named the North Cebu Medical Center (NCMC).

In a speech delivered on his behalf during last week’s hearing of the Cebu Provincial Board’s Committee on Health and Social Services, Frasco urged the board to back House Bill No. 3313, describing it as “not only close to my heart but vital to the well-being of my constituents in the 5th District.”
Frasco noted that the measure has been a legislative priority since the 18th Congress, when he first filed HB 8275 in December 2020. It was refiled in the 19th Congress in June 2022 but stalled due to the lack of a board resolution from the provincial government.
