Duke open to talk with Pam on Danao hospital upgrade

Cebu Fifth District Rep. Duke Frasco has expressed openness to meet with Governor Pamela Baricuatro to discuss his proposed bill seeking to upgrade the Provincial Hospital in Danao City into a Level 2 facility.

“I’m willing to talk to Gov. Pam. Perhaps, over coffee...I’m open to having a conversation,” Frasco said in an interview after the inauguration of the Super Health Center in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Liloan, Cebu, on Tuesday.
Frasco, son-in-law of former governor Gwen Garcia, said the support of the provincial government is crucial, as the measure would convert the Danao Provincial Hospital into a Department of Health (DOH)-run facility and rename it as the North Cebu Medical Center.
