DTI launches AI chatbots to help citizens, businesses

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has launched two helpful AI chatbots to make it easier for Filipinos to get information and services from the government. These chatbots are called 'FAI' and 'TIA', and they are part of DTI's effort to improve customer service and reduce long waiting times.

Meet FAI: Your Friendly AI Assistant
"Aligned with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s call for a more responsive government, the DTI is leveraging digitization through this new FAI chatbot to cut red tape, improve access, and empower businesses under the 'Bagong Pilipinas' vision," said DTI Secretary Cristina A. Roque.
When you visit the DTI website www.dti.gov.ph, a chatbot will greet you by saying, "I'm FAI, your AI assistant." FAI can answer questions about DTI services such as business registration, permits, and consumer complaints.
FAI is easy to use and can help guide people through different DTI programs. It's perfect for those who want quick answers without needing to visit an office or wait in line.
