DQ case against Garcia meant to pull his multiple survey leads

Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia has pledged that he will exert more effort to ensure that his constituents in Cebu City will continue to receive any form of assistance.

This, despite attempts from other political camps to stop him from doing it, despite the exemption granted by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC).
Garcia's statement came after a woman, whose lawyer is identified with the opposing camp, filed a disqualification case against him in the Comelec.
Although he dismissed the case as a mere "black propaganda" out of desperation following his lead in multiple surveys, he said he is yet to receive a copy of the complaint.
