Close to P15M worth of shabu, weeds seized

Authorities in Central Visayas have seized an estimated P13.6 million worth of suspected shabu and destroyed around P1.22 million worth of marijuana in separate anti-drug operations.
The bulk of the illegal drugs was recovered during a buy-bust operation on April 11, 2025, in Sitio Aroma, Subangdaku, Mandaue City, where a 41-year-old female suspect was arrested.
The suspect, identified as a high-value individual and alleged drug repacker, was caught in possession of 2,000 grams of suspected shabu packed in various sizes of heat-sealed plastic sachets.
Authorities also confiscated a marked P500 bill, three additional P500 bills believed to be drug proceeds, and a navy-blue shoulder bag allegedly used to transport the illegal drugs.
