CLAIRE'S FIRST SUMMER FASHION FESTIVAL

School was out and the children couldn't wait to start their summer classes. Kevin was going to take swimming lessons, while his sister Khaira was enrolled in a painting class. Their friends John and Mike took Taekwondo classes which they couldn't stop talking about.
Claire's mother couldn't afford to send her to any summer classes, but that didn't stop her from doing what she had always been wanting to do.
"Ma, can I join the summer fashion festival? I promise I will not bother you with any expenses", she asked with a determined voice.
As soon as her mother gave her permission, Claire gathered the girls around her age from her neighborhood.
"What do you think about us joining the summer fashion show?" A lot of the girls expressed their interest, but their excitement soon died down when they learned of the registration fee.
