Celebrating 19 Wonderous Years
The Freeman
|May 09, 2025
I have two life events related to food which I love to share with family and my beloved readers.
The first was my induction as a member of La Chaine des Rotisseurs, an international gourmet society, on Jan. 30, 1996 at the Grand Ballroom of the Cebu Plaza Hotel. I have enjoyed many luxurious dishes served in many countries without travelling abroad.
The second was on June 18, 2002 when the then-Executive Editor of The Freeman Lifestyle Marlinda introduced me as the section’s food and events scribe. My first assignment was the Ilongo Food Festival at Lantaw Seafood and Native Restaurant, Cebu Plaza Hotel in July 2002.
