Cebu's logistics infra seen as a key draw for investors

Cebu's increasingly integrated logistics industry is emerging as one of the province's strongest selling points for investors, as companies look for locations that can support faster, more resilient supply chains, according to LDL Group of Companies.

Speaking at the Cebu International Investments Summit, Leslie D. Lim, chief executive officer of the LDL Group of Companies, which operates logistics and transport businesses, said Cebu's appeal now rests as much on its ability to move goods efficiently as on its longstanding role as a commercial and tourism hub.

"Logistics has become a strategic advantage rather than a back-office function," Lim said, noting that investors are prioritizing locations with reliable transport links, predictable regulations and modern trade infrastructure.
