As Cebu City braces for Typhoon Tino, the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) has deployed at least 278 police personnel ready to assist and respond in case of emergencies.
According to Police Captain Charisma Gonzales, CCPO Information Officer, the policemen form part of the Reactionary Standby Force who were earlier assigned across the city’s 21 public and private cemeteries during the Kalag-Kalag 2025 observance.
She said the personnel were pulled out ahead of the scheduled 12 noon withdrawal yesterday to address urgent deployment needs.
