Bonoan sought longer US stay

Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel Romualdez said that former Department of Public Works and Highways secretary Manuel Bonoan requested a one-month extension of his stay in the US.

In a DZBB interview on Friday, January 16, Romualdez said that Bonoan requested the extension due to his wife's eye operation.
“Hanggang February 15 daw babalik siya diyan,” he said. (He said he'll be back by February 15.)
