Batches 2012 and 2018 crowned champions of SHAABAA Season 28

The Harley Davidson Batch 2012 and Xchange Forex Batch 2018 completed a two-game sweep of their rivals in the best-of-three division finals to emerge as champions in the Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) Season 28 last Sunday, August 24, at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles in Barangay Canduman, Mandaue City.
Adven Jess Diputado exploded for 33 points while Julius Cadavis dished out a solid double-double of 18 points and 17 rebounds with two assists and a steal as Batch 2012 survived another close battle against Insular Square Batch 2005, escaping with a 74-72 win in Game 2 to grab the Division B crown.
Diputado, who also had eight rebounds, two assists, and three steals, romped off with the Finals MVP award.
Gabe Branzuela of Batch 2010 was named Season MVP in Division B. He was joined in the Mythical Five by his teammate Jasper Diaz, Daryle Tan of Batch 2005, Mykie Cabahug of Batch 2006, and Kylle Valmoria of Batch 2004.
