Baby Jaguars, Greywolves roll to winning starts
The Freeman
|September 15, 2025
The University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Baby Jaguars and the Don Bosco Technical College (DBTC)-Cebu Greywolves kicked off their respective campaigns on a high note in the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) Season 25 basketball tournament on Sunday, September 14, at the new Cebu Coliseum.
The Baby Jaguars overhauled a 13-point deficit in the first half and then went through a five-minute extension before repulsing the Cebu Eastern College (CEC) Blue Dragons, 70-62.
Trailing 19-32 with a minute left in the second quarter, the Baby Jaguars fought back valiantly to send the game into overtime, thanks to Clyve Heinrich Antig's three consecutive free throws that forced a 58-all deadlock in the final six seconds of the regulation period.
