Following a productive collaboration with Cebu Provincial government officials, Mayor Nestor Archival Sr. sees promising projects with the Capitol, including the creation of an expressway and the completion of the Cebu Bus Rapid Transit (CBRT).

In a social media post, Vice Mayor Tomas Osmeña shared photos of a light moment during a dinner with Cebu Provincial Governor Pamela Baricuatro and Archival at their residence.
In a press conference yesterday (Monday), Archival said that the gathering was merely a get-together and did not conclude any major discussions on projects.
However, it was discussed that one of Baricuatro’s primary focuses is health. During the meeting, Archival noted that this is a good indication of governance with synergy, reflecting an intention to cooperate and collaborate.
According to Archival, he and Baricuatro have already shown promise in governance, as they both agreed to collaborate on major projects such as the completion of the CBRT.
Among the initiatives they initially discussed is the creation of an expressway from Carcar City to Danao City.
“We both agreed nga angay ni natong humanon, because this is something very important to decongest the traffic in the city because naay mga dagko nga truck, even truck nga gagmay, moagi gyud sa syudad before going to Danao, Compostela, Liloan, Consolacion,” said Archival.
