Archival eyes longer route

Archival said he is set to meet with the Department of Transportation (DOTr) today (Tuesday) for their report and recommendations.

However, he is also considering suggesting a longer route, from Ayala to SRP. He added that should these recommendations push through, he will arrange a route inspection with the DOTr.
Amid public clamor happening in the Capital Region, Archival said the commencement of the pilot run will be pushed further to October.
It was reported that subtle hitches, adjustments, and comparisons surfaced as the Cebu City Government conducted a route inspection of Package 1 of the CBRT ahead of its pilot run, while appealing for public understanding regarding the traffic congestion caused along the mixed-traffic lanes.
Last Friday, the Cebu City Government inspected the route with the media, and conducted an actual simulation of operations from Fuente Station to the station at the South Bus Terminal.
