Andales seeks clarification on 'coalition' between Partido Barug and Kusog

While the majority bloc of the Cebu City Council has already been determined, Minority Floor Leader Councilor Sisinio Andales can’t help but questioned the coalition between Partido Barug and Kusug, admitting that it came as a surprise to them.

In an interview yesterday, Andales said that since the inaugural session, he has been in a quandary as to which political party would head the majority, adding that the Bando Osmena Pundok Kauswagan, (BOPK), Kugi Uswag Sugbo (KUSUG), and their group each have six members, while Partido Barug only has four.
He said this left the ex-officio members from the Association of Barangay Councils (ABC) and the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation officially joining Partido Barug.
“We want to know asa gyud na... ug naa naba sila'y formal coalition sila Barug ug Kusug kay maglisod man mi kay sometimes we are communicating with the members of Baug and Kusug, and wala mi kabalo diay nga nag coalition na diay sila,” said Andales.
