Yash Birla emphasises traditional values and cultural roots

While Yashovardhan Birla, the 56-year-old owner of the Yash Birla Group, is widely known for his interest in fitness, spirituality and flamboyant fashion, he is also someone who has an equal interest in education, parenting and he is someone who looks up to India’s traditional values and cultural roots as sources of inspiration.

In an exclusive conversation with The Free Press Journal (FPJ), opened up on a wide range of topics and shared valuable advice for the younger generation.

When asked about his perspective on education, especially as a father, he emphasised the importance of holistic development for the overall growth of children. He stressed the need for children to grow up with values and have a strong purpose to pursue their passion.

"All the different education boards have their benefits and challenges. It is important for the child to grow up with values, strength of purpose, and the ability to pursue their passion without school competitiveness and social anxiety", Birla told the FPJ.

"As a parent, I always look for where my child will get the best upbringing from a 360-degree point of view", he added.
