Startup's cryogenic goes to Moscow
The Free Press Journal
|November 08, 2025
Astrophel Aerospace, a Pune-based deep-tech space startup developing reusable launch vehicles and cryogenic propulsion systems, showcased its indigenously engineered cryogenic pump at the BRICS Innovation Summit in Moscow.
The company's co-founders, Suyash Bafna and Immanuel Louis, met potential investors and collaborators to explore export opportunities across BRICS member countries and beyond.
The cryogenic pump, currently undergoing validation and certification at ISRO, represents a major milestone in India's private space supply chain. Once certified, Astrophel Aerospace will become the first Indian startup to receive ISRO approval for use of its technology not only in rocket engines but also in industrial cryogenics across oil and gas, medical, and energy sectors.
