Six fishing boats trespass into ONGC's red zones; FIR lodged

The Yellow Gate police have booked six unidentified fishing boat operators for illegally entering the restricted security zone surrounding the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) offshore platforms in the Arabian Sea between September 11 and October 11.
According to the complaint filed by Mubeen Ahmed, 49, ONGC chief manager (security), the accused violated security regulations by repeatedly entering the 500-meter prohibited area near several ONGC offshore platforms. The restriction has been mandated under the ministry of external affairs notification dated June 12.
