Unnikrishnan Potty has denied all allegations tied to the Sabarimala gold-sheet controversy, asserting that the Travancore Devaswom Board had approached him for a fresh door for the sreekovil.
Potty claimed that closing the existing door had become difficult and said that five associates joined him in taking over the work.
