New KSRTC bus stand proposal runs into trouble

Weeks after the state government cleared a proposal to build a new KSRTC suburban bus stand at Bannimantap at a cost of Rs 120 crore, the city's business community has opposed the move.

Members of KSRTC Suburban Bus Stand Ulisi Horata Samithi including Mysuru District Travels Association, Hotels Owners Association, Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industries, Builders Association and others opposed the government move on shifting the bus stand to Bannimantap here on Monday.
