A piquant situation has developed within the Mahagathbandhan in Bihar.

RJD chief Lalu Prasad distributed party tickets to several candidates for the assembly polls, only for his son and former deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav to retract them later to avoid confusion among the INDIA bloc allies.

The surprising development occurred after Tejashwi returned from New Delhi on Monday evening. In a damage control move, he asserted the next morning that the seatsharing deal among the INDIA bloc partners had yet to be finalised.
