The state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party has launched a comprehensive campaign in Kerala to engage every Muslim household ahead of the local body elections, state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar announced on Friday.
He said the drive will be led by vice-president Dr Abdul Salam. The mission is portrayed as a gesture of inclusion and development, but critics view the initiative as a strategic electoral play.
