Teacher gets 20 years for raping minor student

A Special Court for POCSO cases in Pune on Tuesday sentenced a 56-year-old private coaching class teacher to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for repeatedly raping his ll-year-old student in 2021.
Police said the convict, who lived in the same neighbourhood as the victim, ran private classes at his home. Between August and October 2021, he raped and sexually abused the girl multiple times and threatened to murder her sister if she revealed the abuse.
