A specialised committee has been formed to determine the number of spot bookings at the Sabarimala shrine, following a high-level review meeting chaired by the V. N. Vasavan, the Devaswom Minister, at Pampa.
The panel comprises the designated Police Coordinator, the Executive Officer of the Travancore Devaswom Board, and the Special Commissioner overseeing shrine affairs, and will decide day-to-day spot-booking limits in line with pilgrim flow.
