CSMC demolishes 50 encroachments

The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) on Tuesday demolished around 50 encroachments along the Madni Chowk-Central Naka road as part of its ongoing anti-encroachment drive.
The old city has long been troubled by big and small encroachments on its narrow roads, causing severe traffic congestion during peak hours. Ambulances and fire tenders often find it difficult to pass. Recently, an ambulance carrying a patient was delayed by half an hour due to traffic.
