Addressing reporters in Thiruvananthapuram, he alleged that the investigation appeared to be constrained by administrative control rather than guided by evidence, allowing the conspiracy behind the disappearance of temple gold to remain obscured.

Joseph argued that the probe had focused disproportionately on peripheral actors while avoiding scrutiny of those who planned and executed the operation.
