CCTV captures brutal train assault

CCTV footage from the Kerala Express train shows the two women, including Sreekutty, attacked by Suresh Kumar, seated near the door before the assault and captures the act of the kick and the harassment.

The 19-year-old Sreekutty from Palode in Thiruvananthapuram district, sustained grave injuries after being pushed from a moving train near Varkala on Sunday evening.

Railway police _investigating the case said that CCTV footage from the unreserved coach of the Kerala Express shows the accused forcibly kicking Sreekutty out of the train. Police add that the footage also captures him attempting to harass a second female passenger.
