BIZ GUJARAT | The initiative aims to translate Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit's success into new investment opportunities
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has announced that the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferences (VGRCs) will open a new chapter in the state's growth story, spotlighting the unique industrial, economic, and cultural strengths of different regions of Gujarat.
The initiative, guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to translate Gujarat's two-decade-long success with the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit into a more regional, sector-specific model of growth.
Speaking at a roadshow in New Delhi on Thursday, where he engaged with leading industrialists and trade body representatives, the Chief Minister underlined Gujarat's role as India's growth engine.
"Vibrant Gujarat has become a confluence of trade and tradition, commerce and culture, industry and entrepreneurship. With the inspiration of Prime Minister Modi, what began as an idea in 2003 has today made Gujarat the most preferred investment destination of the country," Patel said.
