Pradhan decries use of language to divide

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan addressed a gathering at the fourth edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam in Varanasi and criticised efforts to frame language as a divide.

He said that a "few friends in Tamil Nadu, due to their parochial political interests, want to create a division on the plea of language." He extended an open invitation to Chief Minister M. K. Stalin to attend the event and observe how participants from the state celebrate civilisation without boundaries.
