A letter from the Rani George-led General Education Department of Kerala has revealed that the state government had initiated the process to join the PMSHRI scheme as early as March 2024.
The communication, sent by the state’s Education Secretary to the Centre, underlines that the government intended to sign the Memorandum of Understanding and roll out the scheme in alignment with the National Education Policy 2020.
