Officials seize ₹26L worth banned goods

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) seized gutkha, pan masala, scented tobacco, and other banned products worth Rs26 lakh during a raid in Ravet on the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway early Tuesday morning.
The contraband was being smuggled from Karnataka's Vijayapur region in vehicles headed towards Kiwale. Acting on a tip-off, FDA officials, with the help of Ravet Police, intercepted the vehicles around 6am near the Katraj-Dehu Road Bypass, officials announced on Wednesday.
