'No communal angle to tragedy'

District In-charge Minister Krishna Byre Gowda has issued a stern warning against those attempting to give a communal colour to the tragic Ganesha immersion accident that occurred in Mosale Hosahalli.

He stated that such actions are a legal offence and assured that strict action would be taken against the perpetrators.

The minister addressed the media after visiting the family of the deceased, Prabhakar, in Holenarasipura taluk to offer his condolences.

"This is a heart-breaking tragedy, and on behalf of the government, I express my deepest sorrow. While no words can compensate for the family's loss, we share in their grief. The government will provide a compensation of 5 lakh to the families of the deceased," he said.
