A political storm has erupted following Karnataka IT Minister Priyank Kharge's remarks questioning the rationale behind semiconductor industries choosing Assam and Gujarat over Karnataka.
Kharge, son of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, suggested that Bengaluru was a more suitable destination for such hightech investments and questioned whether Assam and Gujarat had the necessary talent pool.
