Government Doctors Promoted in Large Numbers

During the panel year 2024-25, which ended on August 31, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has promoted government doctors in large numbers.
Around 600 doctors working under primary, secondary, tertiary and AYUSH medical services have received promotions.
Officials said that in the wake of complaints of delays in promotions in the past, the promotions at this scale have been given after the Minister of Health Satya Kumar Yadav directed that promotions should be given to all eligible doctors within the stipulated time.
