Going extra mile to spread HIV awareness

The Mumbai AIDS Control Society in association with the BMC organised 'Red Run Marathon 2025’ on Sunday, to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS among the youth and encourage open communication and education, and support for patients infected with the virus.
Themed ‘Run to End AIDS’, the marathon was flagged off by deputy municipal commissioner (health) Sharad Ughade. The event had a 4-km race for college students and a 2-km run for citizens. More than 550 youth and around 200 citizens participated in the marathon. Over-
