Babu calls for policy innovation alongside investment

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to make the upcoming CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam a platform not only for investments but also for policy innovation and knowledge exchange.

The two-day event, to be held on November 14 and 15, aims to bring together global investors, policymakers, and leaders in a Davos-style dialogue.
Chairing a review meeting at his camp office on Sunday, the Chief Minister emphasised that the summit should include plenary and breakout sessions focused on diverse themes such as AI for Good, semiconductors, healthcare, innovation, research and development, space, drones, electronics, and med-tech. He said, “Let us make Andhra Pradesh the address for Artificial Intelligence.”
Industries Minister T.G. Bharat, senior officials from the Industries Department and the Economic Development Board, and CII representatives including Director General Chandrajit Banerjee joined the meeting through video conference.
