Winds of change blowing across Telangana: PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his campaign trail in Telangana on Monday, ahead of the Assembly elections in the state on Thursday, said that he was seeing winds of change blowing across the state and the next five years were crucial for the development of Telangana.
"For the first time a BJP government will be formed in Telangana and a BC will be the Chief Minister. The people of Karimnagar have shown the trailer to Chief Minister and BRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao-the trailer of defeat in the Huzurabad by-election. Now in the Assembly elections you are going to send him home. Forming BJP government in Telangana is very important as in 2024 BJP will come to power at the Centre again and having a double engine government will speed up development and progress in the state," said the PM.
The Prime Minister visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Hyderabad in the morning, after which he held public meetings at Mahabubnagar and Karimnagar, before participating in a mega road show in Hyderabad.
