Two army personnel martyred, operation still underway

Two Indian Army personnel have lost their lives in an ongoing anti-terror operation in the Guddar forest area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district, officials confirmed late Monday evening.
The encounter, which began in the early hours of the day, broke out after a joint team of the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and the CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation based on specific intelligence inputs about the presence of terrorists hiding in the forested region.
