Supreme Court on deadlock over Tamil Nadu University VC appointments: 'We'll resolve if not resolved by next week'

The Supreme Court in the case The State of Tamil Nadu Versus The Governor of Tamil Nadu And Anr and The State Of Tamil Nadu Versus The Vice Chancellor And Ors observed and has stated that if the issue raised with regards to the appointment of Vice Chancellors in the Tamil Nadu universities are not resolved by the next date of hearing, then the Court will resolve it.

The bench comprising of Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice R Mahadevan was hearing the present matter.
In the present matter, two writ petitions are filed by State of Tamil Nadu against the actions of Tamil Nadu Governor.
The petition filed were orally mentioned in the morning itself, seeking adjournment.
