'Centre's priority is development of tribals, the poor, youth, and women'
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' has transformed the nation, adding that the centre's priority is the development of tribals, the poor, youth, and women.
Addressing the gathering through video conferencing, PM Modi bowed down to Baba Baidyanath and Baba Basukinath, the land of Birsa Munda.
"I bow down to Baba Baidyanath and Baba Basukinath, the land of Birsa Munda. In the morning, when I reached at the Ranchi airport, a lady welcomed me by offering me a jawa' on 'Karma Parv'. During this festival, the sisters pray for the well-being of their brothers. Jharkhand has got the blessings of development today, six Vande Bharat trains were flagged off, and lakhs of people will be getting pucca houses," the Prime Minister said.
The Prime Minister said that today marks a significant day in Jharkhand's developmental journey.
"Today, the state has been provided with six new Vande Bharat trains, railway projects worth over Rs 650 crores, enhanced connectivity and travel infrastructure, and the added benefit of thousands of people receiving their own homes under the PM Awas Yojana.
I extend my heartiest congratulations to the people of Jharkhand for these remarkable development initiatives.
