Rs 80-cr flying machine for Nayab Saini

The twin-engine nine-seater chopper will provide air transport services to chief minister Nayab Singh Saini and governor Bandaru Dattatreya. Germany-based Airbus made the helicopter to replace the older model, which was declared outdated for safety reasons.

The chopper, equipped with advanced features and state-of-the-art technology, is aimed at improving administrative efficiency, disaster management, and medical emergency responses.

The chief minister has called it a "proud moment" for the state.

Before taking his maiden flight, the chief minister, accompanied by Cabinet Ministers Vipul Goel and Rajesh Nagar, performed a ceremonial puja of the helicopter.
