Rahul Hits Out at Centre Over Arrest of Two Student Leaders in MP

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday hit out at the Central government for arresting two students planning to protest against the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) demanding reforms to ensure more transparency in the recruitment process, saying the BJP is trying to cut the thumb of the students and ruining their future.
He also said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Madhya Pradesh has broken the trust of students and stifled their voices.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Rahul Gandhi, who is also the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha said, "The BJP is giving Eklavya-like treatment to students by cutting their thumb and ruining their future."
