RAHUL: 'BRAZILIAN MODEL' CAST 22 VOTES IN HARYANA POLLS

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday launched a blistering attack on the Election Commission and the ruling BJP, alleging a large-scale voter fraud in Haryana that he claimed "stole democracy itself." Presenting what he called "The H Files," Gandhi asserted that as many as 25 lakh entries on the Haryana voter list were fake, duplicate, or nonexistent enough, he said, to turn a projected Congress win into a defeat.

Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Gandhi said his party had uncovered "crystal clear proof" that one in every eight voters in Haryana was fake an alleged manipulation amounting to about 12.5% of the total electorate. "We have the proof that 25 lakh voters in Haryana are fake. They either don't exist or are duplicates designed to allow anyone to vote. This is not a glitch—it's a structured operation," he said.

He described the alleged fraud as a "fundamental attack on India's democracy," accusing the Election Commission of colluding with the BJP to undermine the people's mandate. "If the voter list is a lie, there is no democracy," Gandhi said. "This is an attack on Mahatma Gandhi, Ambedkar ji, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Patel, and Subhas Chandra Bose by the RSS. Gandhi ji was murdered, and today, his idea is being murdered again." Gandhi claimed the alleged scam involved fake voter IDs linked to stock photographs found online. "We found one case where a woman appears to have voted 22 times across different booths using a stock photo of a Brazilian model. This is not isolated - she represents one of 25 lakh such records in Haryana," he alleged. "It's a centralised operation, not a random clerical error."
