PM Modi to launch nationwide women's health drive on birthday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will mark his birthday on 17 September by launching the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar and the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah campaigns in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, alongside laying foundation stones for several initiatives and addressing a public gathering, the Prime Minister's Office said.
The nationwide health outreach, to be held from 17 September to 2 October, will see over one lakh health camps across Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, CHCs, district hospitals and other government facilities, making it the largest-ever campaign for women and children. The drive will focus on screening and treatment of noncommunicable diseases, anaemia, tuberculosis and sickle cell disease, while also promoting maternal and child health, nutrition, menstrual hygiene and mental well-being.
