Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday took a dig at previous governments and said that just like in previous times, when mobile phone screens would freeze, the same way the governments at that time were frozen and outdated.
Speaking at the 7th India Mobile Congress PM Modi said "10-12 years ago, you must have seen how the mobile phone screen used to get frozen. The situation was similar to previous governments; they were also frozen. There was no use in restarting them, and then we came. After 2014, people stopped using outdated technologies and changing batteries or restarting the system became a futile exercise."
Prime Minister Modi further said that earlier India was an importer of mobile phones but now it has become the second largest mobile manufacturer in the world.
