Ministers Rijiju and Nadda condemned the slogans and demanded an apology from Congress leadership.
The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha witnessed disruptions on Monday over slogans reportedly raised at a Congress rally against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, prompting multiple adjournments in both Houses.
The slogans targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi — “Modi teri kabr khudegi, aaj nahi toh kal khudegi” — at the Congress Party's “vote-chori” rally at the Ramlila Maidan here Sunday, with the ruling BJP demanding an apology from the Opposition party.
In the Lok Sabha, parliamentary affairs minister Kiren Rijiju condemned the alleged slogans raised at the Congress rally at Ramlila Maidan on Sunday and demanded an apology from the top leadership of the main Opposition party.
