Praveen Mittal, who along with his six family members, ended their life in their parked car, hailed from Barwala in Hisar district.

He had moved to Panchkula with his family twelve years ago and began a scrap-material processing business, which reportedly failed.
According to reports, the family later relocated to Dehradun, where he started a travel and tours business. That venture too suffered losses, after which the family returned to Panchkula, settling in Saketri village near the Mansa Devi Complex.
