Mercedes-Benz India has launched the AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupe at a price of Rs. 1.35 Crore, ex-showroom.
The company claims that this high-performance luxury coupe features cutting-edge technology, track-bred engineering, and combines the agility and sportiness of the C-Class with the space and status of the E-Class.
While I hope to be able to bring a review to you at the earliest, today in this snippet I shall convey what Mercedes-Benz have to say about their latest offering in India.
DRIVETRAIN
The new AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ uses a comprehensively upgraded version of the 3.0-litre M 256M inline six-cylinder turbo engine. It features optimized combustion chambers with redesigned inlet and outlet channels, new piston rings, optimized injection and a new turbocharger. In conjunction with the new additional electric compressor, this offers an increase in boost pressure by 0.4 bar to 1.5 bar and thus a higher torque of 560 Nm in continuous operation and 600 Nm in overboost for up to 12 seconds.
